Mock Crab Pasta Salad

Try this nice pasta salad recipe...the Mock Crab Pasta Salad ! Amazing !
Ingredients:
  • 1/2 c. Hidden Valley Ranch salad dressing
  • 1 c. sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 1/2 c. sugar
  • 1/2 c. cider vinegar
  • 1 med. green pepper, chopped
  • 3 to 4 celery ribs, chopped
  • 1 med. onion, chopped
  • 1/2 to 1 lb. imitation crab meat, cut or flaked
  • 1 lb. pasta ((your choice)
  • Black pepper to tasteCook pasta

Directions:
Cook pasta according to pkg. directions, do not overcook, rinse with cold water, drain. Mix all ingredients together. Refrigerate at least 2 hours...and the great pasta salad recipe is ready..great one !

Fruit & Pasta Salad

Try this amazing fruit pasta salad recipe...nice !

Ingredients:
  • 1 med. orange
  • 1/4 c. plain low-fat yogurt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • Dash salt
  • 1/4 c. tiny bow tie pasta, cooked & drained
  • 2 med. apples, cored and chopped
  • 2 tbsp sliced green onions
Directions:
Finely shred enough orange peel to make 1/2 tsp; set aside. Remove the remaining peel from orange and section orange over a bowl to catch juice. Measure 2 tbsp of the juice. In med. mixing bowl, stir together orange peel, 2 tbsp juice, yogurt, sugar and salt. Mix well; add cooked pasta, chopped apples and slice green onions; toss to coat. Gently stir in the orange sections. Cover and chill fro 2 to 24 hours. The nice pasta salad recipe of fruit is ready for 6 servings....amazing taste of salad !

Mexican Pasta Salad







Try this great pasta salad recipe...Mexican style !

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 lb. any short pasta, like penne
  • 1 cp. corn kernals
  • 3 minced scallions
  • 1 cp. chopped bell peppers (try and make it colorful)
  • 1 1/2 cps. cooked kidney, pinto, or black beans
  • 1 cp. chopped tomatoes
  • 1/4 sliced Spanish olives
  • 2 tsp. olive oil
  • 3 tbsp. fresh lemon or lime juice
  • 2 tsp. ground cumin
  • 2 tbsp. chopped cilantro
  • pepper and salt, to taste
  • lowfat chedder cheese, grated (optional)
  • salsa (optional)

Directions:
Cook pasta to al dente (about ten min.) in boiling water. During the final two minutes, add corn. Drain the corn and pasta, rinse with cold water, and set aside.
Combine scallions, bell peppers, beans, tomatoes, olives, olive oil, lemon (or lime) juice, cumin, pepper, and cilantro in a large bowl. Stir in the pasta and the corn. Add salt to taste. Serve
immediately or chill for later. Add a little cheese and/or salsa to each serving if so desired. Great pasta salad recipe Mexican style is ready to serve..nice one !

Tuna Pasta Salad Recipe

















Try this great Tuna Pasta Salad Recipe...nice one !

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups shell macaroni
  • 1 can tuna
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup finely sliced celery
  • 1 large carrot, grated
  • 2 hard boiled eggs, mashed up
  • 1/2 cup Hellmanns Real Mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1/4 tsp. paprika

INSTRUCTIONS
Cook macaroni until al dente. Hard boil the eggs. Drain the pasta well and let cool. Add tuna, breaking up any chunks. Add celery, onion, carrot. Mix salad dressing with lemon juice, garlic salt and paprika. Spoon over top of salad. Mix very lightly. Add the mashed eggs and again stir lightly. And the great pasta salad recipe is ready to serves 6 great persons...enjoy !

Ginger Peanut Pasta Salad

Ingredients:
  • 8 oz. corkscrew macaroni or fine noodles
  • 20 fresh pea pods (tips and stems removed)
  • 1 small cucumber (quartered lengthwise and sliced)
  • 2 medium carrots (cut into long thin strips)
  • 1 medium yellow and/or green sweet pepper (cut into thin strips)
  • 3/4 cup thinly sliced radishes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup bias-sliced green onions
  • 3 Tbsp. snipped fresh cilantro
  • 1 recipe Ginger Salad dressing (below)
  • 1/3 cup chopped peanuts
Ginger Salad Dressing Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup salad oil
  • 3 Tbsp rice vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp grated ginger root
  • several dashes hot pepper sauce
Directions:
Cook pasta according to package directions. During last 30 seconds, add pea pods. Rinse with cold water and drain. Combine pasta and veggies. Add Ginger Salad dressing and toss gently to coat. Cover and chill for 2-8 hours. To serve, toss salad and sprinkle w/ peanuts.
